Hummingbird in the Rockies

Acrylic on canvas, 5 x 7 inches, framed in wood painted green. This painting is based on a photo I took about ten years ago when we stayed in one of the cabins on the grounds of the YMCA of the Rockies, which I’ve been going to since 1975. It was a chance encounter with a beautiful hummingbird as it fed at one of the feeders hung from the porch of the cabin.
