Acrylic on canvas, 10 x 14 inches. This painting was inspired by my mother and my sisters who loved to visit York Beach, Maine. Across from the beach is the famous lighthouse, or the Cape Neddick Nubble Lighthouse. They vacationed there quite a bit, and my sister Claire still goes there on her annual trek to Maine. Included here is the underpainting done in burnt sienna, followed by the final painting.
