This was an amazing photo taken of this man paddling his son to safety in the aftermath of the Hurricane Harvey.  The streets of their neighborhood has been flooded, and they are quickly getting to a safer space.

After covering the canvas with a wash, I drew the scene onto the canvas. I then covered the darks and lights using differing tints of cerulean blue. I added titanium white to the cerulean to creating lighter and lighter values.
