The small cardinal seen in the painting frequents our yard and house, and has a habit of flying up to a second story window that looks into our office…this has been going for about 3 years. I captured a picture of the bird actually in a small tree in our backyard. The photo was taken from our second story office looking down through the tree into a background of a fence and a wetlands area.
